Founded in 2004 the purveyors of the “brickbeat” genre were rumoured to be a reformation of the legendary electronic innovators The AFL. Their union lasted for only a couple of months but produced the seminal tracks “Not Much” and “The Wilf Daddy”; the former cheekily swiping the piano riff from “Jamie and The Magic Torch” whilst the rather ruder “Wilf Daddy” channelled Roy Budd via Dr Dre.
