About The Shandels
This is a band from back around 1965-66. They did a 45 record that read Shandels, the Fabulous Four Sean, 2 Toms, and Joe. The lead singer Sean Ryan was born in Ireland I believe and moved to Mount Prospect in the 60's. He also played bass guitar. The two Tom included Tom Blomquist on drums. Tom is an award winning TV writer and producer. He also directed two of Kelly Coffey's music videos. He now is a professor at a college in CA. Tom Nyquist was the other Tom.
