
About The Royal Jokers
There were two US groups called The Royal Jokers, both active in the late 1950s to early 1960s. 1. The Royal Jokers were an R&B group from Detroit, Michigan. They also recorded as The Royals, The Muskateers and Serenaders. Some of their members were Noah Howell, Norman Thrasher and Willie Jones. 2. The Royal Jokers were an instrumental rock & roll group that released one Beatnik themed single in 1959, Beatnik b/w Vibrations. They also re-released the single as The Castaways in 1960.
