The Roman Invasion Suite was a short-lived emo/hardcore band from Kalamazoo, MI, active in the late 1990's. They were contemporaries of Broken Hearts Are Blue and the next step in sound following the breakups of bands like Ordination of Aaron, Vine, etc. The Roman Invasion Suite was David Shinaver, Daniel Betzner, Derek Van Gieson, and Bryan Heany. They released a song on the "Longbow Project 001" Compilation 12" (1996, LBR #001) and a Self-Titled 7" (1997, LBR #002). Both releases were on Longbow Records.
