About The Rhinos
1) Indie pop group heavily influenced by The Byrds and The Hollies based in Sweden. Swedish natives Pontus Berggrensson (drums), Lasse Hindberg (guitar/vocals), and Göran Frennesson (bass) formed the Rhinos in spring of 2000. A couple of months later, the band added Björn Persson on second guitar and vocals. The band recorded after some gigs, resulting in the ten-song, promo-only Thirst. Longtime live backing vocalist, Leif Svensson, was asked to join the Rhinos as a full-time member, providing vocals and harmonica.
