About The Retardos
Started up by Andy Apeman and Riff Randall in the suburbs of Oslo, Norway, in 1996. With King Killi on lead guitar and George Gorilla on drums the got their first 7" out on the small credible Oslo-label Thatsperfectwonderball Records in march 1997. Influenced by early american punkrock they soon got respected as a band worth watch out for. In feb/march 2000, they toured United States with Backyard Babies and The Yo-Yo´s, promoting their first full-lenght album "The Retardos" out on Scooch Pooch Records/Sub Pop.
