About The Red Plastic Buddha
Formed in late 2005, Chicago's Red Plastic Buddha developed a sound reminiscent of the best elements of late 60s British psychedelia, alternating between swirling sonic landscapes and catchy, melody driven pop. Like contemporaries The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Red Plastic Buddha has been plagued by frequent lineup changes. Despite these setbacks, band leader Timothy Ferguson (vocals/ bass) has kept the band steadily moving forward. 2007's debut
