About The Pleasures
The Pleasures are a five-piece glamrock band from Hamburg, Germany, born of a love for all things outrageous and gender-transcending. It was experiencing Ziggy Stardust and Velvet Goldmine for the first time in 2000 that prompted Dancette (vocals) to start working on a side-project, as the band he was in at the time was not glitzy enough by far. In 2004 he joined forces with Lord Vivian (vocals & guitar), it became much more than a side-project, and the first few The Pleasures songs were born.
