There are at least four bands using this name. 1. The Players, a Norwegian boyband consisting of the five footballers Kristoffer Hæstad, Raymond Kvisvik, Morten Gamst Pedersen, Øyvind Svenning and Freddy dos Santos. They released their single, "This Is For Real" on July 3rd, 2006, performed in Oslo, Norway. 3. An alias for Baltimore, MD based ska group, The Players Band. 2. A supergroup of Nashville studio musicians who assembled to record ten of their own compositions: Dann Huff
