About The Phonecall
Whether throwing together small symphonies of sound or stripping down music to it’s core, The Phonecall has served as the main project and playground for teenage multi-instrumentalist/producer Mateo Suarez for nearly 5 years. Mixing together the larger-than-life sounds of bands such as Spiritualized with new age jam-band relaxation of Goose & Grateful Dead, and experimental rock calling to Sonic Youth. Other influences include: Talking Heads, David Bowie, Slint, Black Country, New Road, Khruangbin, and more.
