
Paul Joseph deLay (1952-2007), was an American blues vocalist and harmonica player. Born on the 31st January 1952 in Portland, Oregon, bandleader Paul deLay ranked among the greatest blues harmonica players, songwritersb and vocalists. His work on the chromatic harp is considered by many to be unrivalled, and he was a three-time W.C. Handy Award nominee. A member of the Cascade Blues Association's Hall of Fame, Paul was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995.
