Described as a cross between At The Drive In and Ben Folds Five, The Patrick James Pearson Band’s first EP – The American Lover EP pricked up many ears. It was so attention-catching that the shady panel who choose bands for the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury picked them out to perform on the Friday at the festival. Many, including, Tom Robinson raved about it thus rendering them the number 1 “Most Shared” band at Glastonbury for a good 24 hours on the BBC Glastonbury website home page.
