About The Parameters
The Parameters were a band from Brisbane, Australia which was formed by artist and activist Tony Kneipp in late 1983, with the purpose of recording the 'Pig City/Material Posessions" 7 inch single, which was the bands only release. The story of the song's recording is as remarkable as the tune itself. Kneipp remembers the title coming from The Clash's legendary February 1982 gig at Cloudland, QLD shortly before the iconic venue's demolition at the hands of the Deen Brothers.
