About The Odd Times
Born and bred in Western New York, the members of The Odd Times met in a sort of happen-stance manor. Ben Cain (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) was 16 years old and playing local acoustic shows while writing and developing a solo record. Rudy Schieder (bass), Jeff Crawford (drums), and Brendan O'Shea (lead guitar, keyboard) were in the process of starting a new project after their first project, Larrabe, came to an end. Paths were crossed when Ben was playing a solo show in downtown Buffalo and Rudy and Jeff were unknowing spectators.
