The Occasional Flickers began as the solo project of Giorgos Bouras in Athens, Greece. With the help of some good friends they recorded their first 7″ single rain until monday 7", which was released in early 2003. After a long break, their debut album scattered songs recorded at Bouras’ bedroom was completed in 2006 and released in 2007 by the Peruvian indiepop label Plastilina Records. Even though it was awkwardly performed and recorded, scattered songs included some of their best songs.
