About The Nu Niles

The band is made up of Mario Cobo (guitar and vocals), Ivan Kovacevic (double bass) and Blas Picón (drums). They began their career as a pure no-frills rockabilly band at a time when it was a totally anti-fashion place to be and probably the most underground thing going on musically. The band has always kept a hold of those roots and still contains the basic ingredients of Rockabilly, Rock’n’Roll, Surf, Punk and Ska, throwing in some TexMex or Spaghetti Western theme references for good measure
