
The New Jacobin Club first appeared in the mid 1990's on the frozen Western Canadian prairies. This gothic/garage/punk trio, heavily influenced by the sounds of the great deathrock era (45 Grave, Misfits, TSOL,), would eventually go on to their first record deal with an American indie label in 1998, and triumph with a Canadian college radio favourite "Retake the Throne" in 2003.
