About The Naffis

The Naffis was one of the many monikers of a post-punk/dub duo from Earlstown, Merseyside, UK, consisting of Brenda Kenny (a.k.a. Brenda Ray) and Gerry Kenny (a.k.a. Sir Freddie Viadukt, The Minister of Noise). They started out as Naafi Sandwich, releasing a 7" on Absurd Records in 1979. This single was re-released under the name The Naffis in 1982. As Naffi they released 3 cassettes, one 7" single and an album called "Yum Yum Yum Yum Ya" between 1980 and 1982.
