About The Moondogs
There are three bands with this name: 1. The Moondogs (alternatively known as just "Moondogs") was a power pop power trio from Derry in Northern Ireland that had some success in the late 70s and early 80s. Also described as being one of the areas' most melodic and tuneful punk rock groups, they were made up of Gerry McGandless (guitar/vocals), Jackie Hamilton (bass), and Austin Barett (drums).
