About The Merits
There are/were at least three groups called The Merits. 1. a jazz group of the 1960s, perhaps best known for the 1965 track 'Arabian Jerk' and often regarded as a 'mod jazz' combo. 2. a fledgling band from San Diego, CA, United States, that sprung up around 2009 (but appears to have been active for some time now). 3. a gospel country band from Arkansas, active in the 70s
