The Meltdown is a soul band from Melbourne that combines warm southern soul and rhythm & blues with influences from gospel and jazz. Led by singer and songwriter Simon Burke, the band makes timeless music with an emotional charge. Their sound is soaked with horns, organ sounds and compelling grooves, with lyrics that touch. With the album It's a Long Road (2022), the band once again proved their strength in making soul with depth. Live, The Meltdown guarantees a sincere and heartwarming show.
