There are two known bands with the title "The Meerkats" 1.The Meerkats are a surf rock band coming out of the South Bay in California. Known for their interactive performances, band members often swap instruments and engage with the audience during "Surfin Detective". The band's mascot, a blue dragon named Leonard, often makes special appearances on the band's Instagram and performance slideshows. The Meerkats often play with other South Bay local artists like Acolyte, Willowake, and Chloe Moser.
