The Mears Brothers are American songwriters. Brothers Thomas James Mears (born March 2, 1954), James Joseph Mears (born December 24, 1958) and John Basil Mears (born March 31, 1960) in Racine, Wisconsin, United States, were inspired by many musical sources from an early age. The trio had limited musical success recording and touring under the band name ERIN along with lead guitarist Don Carls in the 1970's and 1980"s, releasing one album "Just off the Mississippi Queen".
