About The Luddites
The Luddites were a popular Hull band at the time of the Red Guitars and their ep 'Strength Of Your Cry' was released before the Red Guitars single. John Peel liked them and offered a Peel Session. The song 'Doppelganger' also featured on the Tube Special in Hull. Drummer Dave Stead eventually found success with the Beautiful South.
