Long defunct but deserving of discovery are the Wiltshire based electronic outfit The Lucas Patrol. A lacklustre last decade to the 20th century suddenly turned good for them when they released their first and only album Death which, while not the easiest of listens, heralded a profilic second life for the band. Fusing modular analog soundscapes with hard edged post-punk guitar Death stands as one of the great undiscovered albums of the early 21st century.
