
The Kentucky Gentlemen was an American 1970's bluegrass band with Avery Gabbard, Dennis Barrett, Marvin C. Davis, Ralph King. In 1973 King co-founded the Kentucky Gentlemen and worked with them until 1981. During that time the Kentucky Gentlemen recorded eight albums. -Ralph A. King (Born May 2, 1936 in Dabolt, Kentucky. Died February 1, 2018 in Zephyrhills, Florida) was a bluegrass banjo, guitar, mandolin and dobro player and tenor vocalist. During the 1960s King played with Vernon Bowling & the Silver Hill Boys
