About The JIG
1) The Jig is a 7-piece funk outfit from Amsterdam with heart-warming, gut-grinding, knee-bending, filthy instrumental originals. In 2010, The Jig was a valued guest at several Dutch festivals and clubs. They played with tenorhero Hans Dulfer in Amsterdam's Bitterzoet and pumped up the afterparty of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings in Paradiso. At the end of 2010 they gigged in some respected clubs in New York City (Nublu, Kenny's Castaways) and recorded an album in the studio of Ken Rich (David Byrne
