About The Invalids
Coming out of the early days of Northern CA’s 924 Gilman-fueled punk rock renaissance, The Invalids formed in the spring of 1993. Original members were Scott (guitar/vocals), Sean (drums), and Tony (bass), three teenagers from Santa Rosa, CA, an hour north of San Francisco. Teaching themselves how to play their instruments in their parents’ living rooms and garages, The Invalids used lawnmowers for mic stands and buckets and lawn chairs for drums, before graduating to substandard ‘real’ equipment and taking their show on the road.
