About The Hermit Crabs
The Hermit Crabs are: Melanie Whittle (guitar and vocals); John Ferguson (lead guitar); Chris Gillies (bass guitar) and Jo Bunyan (keyboards). They are from Glasgow, Scotland. The Hermit Crabs were formed in 2003 when Mel's band California Snow Story were on hiatus. After various lineup changes, they released their debut EP, 'Feel Good Factor', on Matinée Recordings in January 2007, followed by an album in October 2007, 'Saw You Dancing', which included performances by members of Teenage Fanclub and Camera Obscura.
