About The Herb Spectacles
The Herb Spectacles present a 21st century mix of South American Tijuana and Mariachi sounds. In the nineteen-sixties this music was popularised by musicians like Chet Baker who did a lot of mariachi music recordings, and of course Herb Alpert, who's Tijuana Brass made this musical style an instant worldwide hit. The Herb Spectacles' debut album contains many of their own compositions. Inspired by the tijuana and mariachi sounds the Specs try to boost interest in this style once more.
