About The Helm
Formed in October of 2004 by Bob Swift, Timm Trust (Left With Nothing), Ryan "Murph" Murphy (Undertow, The Vows), and Ben Colton (Champion). Known for short, fast, and abrasive songs that take unexpected twists with dismal, frustrated, and hopeless lyrical content. They recorded a demo which was later released as their initial 7" with Hex Records (Syracuse, NY). Soon after, they released their first full length, Grim Harvest, on California label Indecision Records.
