The Haters sound is directly influenced by the plethora of great punk bands from Orange County, CA (Agent Orange, The Adolescents, Social D etc.), as well as the classic UK bands (The Clash, Sham 69, The Damned). Mix in some high energy rock-and-roll jet fuel (think Supersuckers, Rose Tattoo, Motorhead), a healthy dose of The Misfits, and just a touch of funk/R&B (James Brown, Morris Day, Cameo) and you start to get a sense of what the Haters are all about.
