the group image was formed in 1966 out of electric acid jam sessions in th east village they were on the cover of time magazine in 1968 i was there I was a drummer and master of ceremonies we had two bands the other neer recorded it was called the second hand band there was never any recording success for TGI but the live show they put on weekly in NYC NY at the palm gardens and the hotel diplomat were very successful the image you have of the
