Beijing in 2002 www.thegrindingear.com Founded in 2002 in Handan,Hebei province.Started as a grunge band,and self-released two demo albums.In 2006 the band is dismissed. In 2010 the band reformed in beijing as a Post-Rock/Psychedelic group. The band consists of: Ma Yao (Guitar) Liu Tuo (Bass) Zhou Yang (Guitar) Tony (Drums) The Grinding Ear joined local indie label 1724 Records in March 2012,and working for some new materials,planning for their first inner-land tour.
