There is more than one artist with this name: 1) The Golden Dawn were an American psychedelic rock band formed in Austin, Texas, in 1966. The band released one album, titled Power Plant, before breaking up soon after the album’s release in 1968. The record company, the infamous International Artists label out of Houston, had made a decision that seems to have “shafted” the career of the vibrant Golden Dawn.
