The band was founded in Cologne in 1996 and consisted of Albert Mangelsdorff, Klaus Doldinger, Manfred Schoof, Wolfgang Dauner, Wolfgang Haffner und Eberhard Weber. Later Haffner was replaced by Curt Cress and Meinhard Jenne.
