About The Galaxies
1) Brazilian group from the sixities. Only one album relased on 1968, considered the one history band of the brazilian psychedelic era. 2) The Galaxies, a Northwest rock band, was founded in the 1960s in Tacoma, Washington, at Stadium High School. The first rock band to ever play for a dance in Stadium High School, The Galaxies became one of the house bands at the Red Carpet Teenage Nightclub in Tacoma, and went on to record for Etiquette Records and Jerden Records. The Galaxies performed throughout the Northwest from 1962 until 1968.
