About The Gain
Steve Pilace grew up in Lake Elsinore, California and didn’t graduate high school. Around ‘85 he met Corky Pigeon. Corky was a previous child star in the television series Silver Spoons. They started a mod band in the late 80’s called Then Again. This band lasted for couple years but then died out due to the other band member wanting to pursue other styles of music. In 1990, Steve and Corky started The Gain (this name for the band was an obvious offshoot of the Then Again band name).
