About The Gadjo Players
The Gadjo Players are an acoustic string band from Madison, Wisconsin. They play a variety of styles of music, from Gypsy swing and Latin to Bluegrass and Celtic. Formed in January 2005, The original line-up consisted of Mike Kratochwill on guitar, Matt Krueger on octave mandolin, Ben Johnson on upright bass, and Nate Hess on mandolin. After playing a number of cafe's and jazz bars, the Gadjos went to the studio to record an album full of original numbers.
