About The Funky Lowlives
The Funky Lowlives are a musical duo formed by Gary Danks and Jonathan Whitehouse, who have been producing music in Soho, London since 1998. Their first single was released on the London label Ascension Music, and they became active as remixers early in their career. Their remix work included projects for artists such as Masters at Work, Dizzy Gillespie, Mark Rae and Richard Dorfmeister. While working extensively on remixes, the duo developed their own style and began releasing original material.
