About The Family Riot
Formed in the late Autumn months of 2004 by ex-members of Mosquito Bitten Bastards and Happy Rainbow Death, The Family Riot slowly evolved from brainstorming/jam sessions in Euclid Ohio. Within months a few songs were written, a bass player was found and the beginning pieces of Cleveland's premiere cartoon-core band were set in place. In a town where some bands take themselves so seriously that its actually pretty hilarious, The Family Riot aims to do the exact opposite and deliver it on an over-the-top, heaping plate of surrealism.
