There are at least three groups named The Exceptions. 1. The Exceptions were a sixties 'girl group' from Coventry, United Kingdom (Georgina Oliver, Pamela Jarman, Valerie Jones). They were successful on their home soil as The Orchids. In the United States they were initially dubbed 'The Blue Orchids' (due to the existence of an American set of Orchids on the Roulette label), but in 1965 they were re-launched in America as The Exceptions.
