About The Dillinger Escape Plan
The Dillinger Escape Plan is an American metalcore band formed in 1997 in Morris Plains, New Jersey, by guitarist Ben Weinman, bassist Adam Doll, vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, and drummer Chris Pennie. The band is known for its use of dissonance, complex time signatures, polyrhythms, and unconventional drumming patterns, while later releases incorporated more melodic elements and influences from a range of genres. The lineup has changed frequently over time, with Weinman remaining the only constant member for most of the band’s career.
