Beatgruppe dannet som Danty Swingers til optræden på Restaurant Lille Peter på Bakken i sommeren 1963 med følgende medlemmer: Jens Rugsted (el-b, vo) Peter Gregers (ts, rhythm-g) (ex-Five Danes) Flemming Ostermann (lead-g, vo) Mogens de Neergaard (dm) (Neergaard og Rugsted havde spillet sammen tidligere). Kort efter kommer Finn "Danty" Jensen (lead-vo) med, og Mogens erstattes af Jan Fahrenkrug (dm). Spillede oprindeligt Cliff Richard & Shadows inspireret musik.
