About The Crowd
There are several groups known as 'The Crowd': 1) The Crowd were in the vanguard of the Orange County beach punk explosion of the late 1970s. They helped create and define a timeless sound which remains influential even today, over three decades later. One of the first and one of the best bands of their era. 2) The Crowd is a Danish rock group from the 1960s. 3) The Crowd was a supergroup formed specifically to produce the charity record "You’ll Never Walk Alone" for the Bradford City stadium fire, in which 56 people died on 11 May 1985.
