
About The Concordia Choir
The Concordia Choir is a critically-acclaimed 75-voice choir known for its distinctive sound and regarded as one the finest a cappella choirs in the world. The ensemble is a highly selective mixed-voice choral ensemble comprised entirely of students at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. The choir has had only four conductors since its founding in 1920. The choir rose in prominence during the long tenure of Paul J. Christiansen who conducted the choir for almost 50 years, from 1937-1986.
