The Collected Fictions are a three piece indie pop band hailing from Victoria Park, Manchester. Initially formed in 2012 as a song outlet for Paris Thompson, the band developed musically over a love of off-kilter pop (Aztec Camera, The Clean, The Feelies, The Pastels) - music too earnest to be pop and too pop to be underground. It is this musical grey area that the band draws on. Fusing the stripped down aesthetic of punk with the subtleties of pop song-craft
