About The Chosen Brothers
The Chosen Brothers is Lloyd Barnes. Born in 1948 in Jamacia, Barnes, also known as Wackie or Bullwackie, is a dub producer based in the Bronx since the 1970's. He is the original head of the label Wackie's which since the beginning of the 1980's made dub and roots records with both jamaican and local artist like Horace Andy. In the early 2000's a long line of original Wackie's records where reissued via the german dub-techno label Basic Channel. Basic Channel also an musical duo, remixed a lot of the reissued records.
