About The Chaplin Band
In 1976 brother Jo & John Bartels form the disco-group The Chaplin Band. After singer Jimmy Soulier leaves the band in 1977, Walter Nita takes over his duties, but leaves a year after. Willy Bronzwaer (Drums) leaves the band in 1980. Anton Schlaecker and Jack Bartels join the band in 1981. In 1992 the group joins the band The Walkers to form Lafayette.
