About The Carlisles
Ameriacn Country group formed around William Toliver (Bill) Carlisle (December 19, 1908–March 17, 2003).Among its members were singer Martha Carson and songwriter Betty Amos. In 1953 the Carlisles were invited to join the Grand Ole Opry.
